Four of the top five richest MPs of the 16th Lok Sabha are from Andhra Pradesh while the fifth MP is from Madhya Pradesh. The richest MP this term is Telugu Desam Party’s Jayadev Gala from Andhra Pradesh with total assets of Rs 683.05 crore. Gala won from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and is the managing director of Amara Raja Batteries. The second richest MP is TRS's Konda Vishweshwar Reddy with assets of Rs 528 crores from Chevella. Third on the list is BJP's Gokaraju Ganga Raju who has won from the Narsapuram constituency, and is the founder of the Rs 1,000 crore Laila Group of Companies. Fourth and the only lady in the list who contested for the first time is Butta Renuka who won from the Kurnool Lok Sabha constituency. She has declared assets worth Rs 242 crore. Fifth on the list is Congress's Kamal Nath who declared assets worth Rs 206 crore. He has won from the Chhindwara constituency of Madhya Pradesh. richmps
